I called on Judy Cook for a design consultation and ended up hiring her for my project. I needed to redesign a comfortable living room for my senior mother to use. It required placing her lift armchair and allowing space for her walker yet not making it look like a senior center. I also wanted to incorporate a light nautical theme to the space. Judy came up with some excellent choices and ordered custom pieces. She was there for the delivery and set up and did all the finishing touches herself. We love it. Judy is a professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend her.

Judy helped us to renew our master bedroom and bathroom. She understood the scope of the job (in terms of cost and our attention span) and provided us with great ideas and appropriate samples for tub surround material, wall and floor tiles, wall paint colors, draperies, and carpeting. The overall effect is harmonious and elegant – just what I wanted. Moreover, she kept us on track. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I am so grateful to Judy for coordinating the decorative elements of our open kitchen, dining, family space. Judy was just so easy to work with. She has wonderful ideas, great taste and was happy to include some of our family pieces and antiques into the new scheme. Working with Judy to redesign my living room was a wonderful experience. The ideas binder you created was helpful as I continually referred to it as I implemented different elements of the project. Judy was great to work with. I didn’t have time to do much time to do much legwork and she did it all. I told her what I was looking for and she delivered. Her suggestions along the way made the finished product better than what I expected. I would highly recommend her for any job, big or small!

I engaged JCI to redecorate my living room and dining room. She listened to my design preferences and transformed them into a design and led the purchasing and kept me informed at every step. She offered options along the way and used her extensive contacts and merchants to round out the design. She brought me along on shopping trips to refine the final selections. Judy did an excellent job in assisting me to select window & floor treatments and furniture for my new home. She is knowledgeable and works well within a budget in a timely fashion. Judy is also an excellent resource for other professionals that may be needed to complete the project. She is a delight to work with! Judy follows up after a visit and gives a good synopsis of what was discussed. Judy is also readily accessible and always returns phone calls or e-mails. Bravo, Judy! Our kitchen is beautiful and functional, everyone who visits complements the new room. We gutted our kitchen to the drywall and had many decisions that needed to be made. We are not very decisive, nor familiar with products and options for a kitchen. Judy walked us through every step and had great information about available options. She provided us with photos, websites, samples, and went with us to stores to see cabinets, flooring, appliances, lighting, hardware – all of it. She helped us narrow down the options, and when the time came, nudged us as needed to make decisions. She worked well with our contractor, and everything was done on time. We have already recommended her to our friends.

Judy has been a great resource as we rehab our home that was previously a horse barn. She has kept us on track with our design concept when we’ve felt overwhelmed with choices. We hired Judy Cook Interiors, LLC during the process of building our home. Both my husband and I were working full time plus and did not have the time to drive to Eastern CT during the week to monitor the process. Judy was a great help during that process and often intervened at the job site; for example, in the master bathroom she worked with the tiler to insert storage needed in the shower. After moving into the home, as we were new to the area opened doors to purchase items such as rugs and guided us through the design process of several key rooms to include both offices and the master bedroom. Judy was comfortable with the construction team and they with her.

We built a new house and our architect recommended Judy Cook Interiors. This was an excellent choice for us. Judy offered nice wall color selections for rooms in the house as well as furniture suggestions and arrangements for the living and dining rooms. She identified fabric choices for the living room furniture and did an excellent job in matching colors and styles. The living room has a very inviting and comfortable feel to it! Judy is also well networked in the area with many local contacts to measure windows and install blinds or curtains, build custom frames for mirrors, backsplash design and tile selections, and re-upholstering. Judy is very knowledgeable and diligent in getting things done. She is flexible with her schedule and follows up on all work thoroughly. Judy has a professional attitude and gets to know the client’s personal preferences. I have been very pleased with Judy’s work and would highly recommend her to others.
